Potent Quotable
Jodie Foster, 42, tells Entertainment Weekly that she’s cool with being an actress at her age: “You don’t have to worry about being the ingĂ©nue or being cast as Tom Cruise’s girlfriend ever again.”
We’d Be Lying If We Said We’ll Miss Her…
The New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that Bridezilla, a.k.a. Star Jones, didn’t leave E!’s red carpet voluntarily. “She was pushed,” according to an insider. The gossip column explains, “Jones, who grated on the nerves of viewers and E! execs by continually promoting her wedding last year, made her final appearance as the cable channel’s red carpet reporter at the Emmys this month.” Jones insists she broke up with E! before they broke up with her, telling the Post that she’s too busy self-promoting her book (but we’re not promoting it, so we’re not giving the title!) about meeting with now-husband and reported gay-club aficionado Al Reynolds. Also not re-upped for another year at E! is fashionista Robert Verdi, who is reportedly up for a part in The Devil Wears Prada, opposite Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. Filling their shoes on the red carpet will likely be gay faves Kathy Griffin and Carson Kressley, along with E! anchor Giuliana Depandi. But E! says, “Star was not fired and no decisions have been made as to the next red carpet team.”

Casualties
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing.
He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."
"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"
His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.
Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

How I Spent My Summer Vacation...
I had never watched an episode before, but this season, I became a fan of Big Brother. Jedi Howie going after Busto, James' ability to play everyone, Kaysar takinghis finger off the button, Janelle and Beau going at it and the now infamous, "Bye bye bitches!"... It was definitely a summer to remember and what better way for me to say goodbye to my favorite show of the summer than to spend the weekend with the better half of the cast...
from the BB6 wrap party... notice the "Friendship" are never in any of my pics...
We're all so tall :-)
aren't they cute?
Oh Howie, you're such a beefcake!
