Catching Up With Erasure

Chatting on the phone with one of my heroes, Andy Bell from Erasure (right), was a real dream come true... and I am really proud of this interview... He couldn't have been more lovely and I couldn't have kept better cool on the outside considering how crazy my insides felt... my only snafu was saying to him, "A lot of people think your last song was Chain of Fools"... Chain of Fools is of course Aretha Franklin, I meant to say Chains of Love... certainly not the first time I said the wrong thing to someone. Fortunately, he was a complete gentleman and just breezed right over it....

Love Handles Goes to Vegas

A piece of good news... when I went in for that photo shoot, I grabbed the shirt I am wearing at the last second... a month ago I couldn't get that shirt to button up... so even if it is an ugly picture, there is still some good coming out of it!!!

This has been such an interesting process and I am only one month into it. I wanted to just say a quick thank you to everyone for being so supportive as I go through this. To say it is a challenge is an understatement, but knowing that I am not going through it alone keeps me from eating all of the crap that I love!!!
