A month ago, the Bangles sang.
My friend's school.
Children walking like Egyptians.
Dancing with full abandon.
Pure magic.
Two weeks ago.
My friend's birthday.

Last night we raised money.
Orphanage. Tijuana.
Children in need.
So many unwanted children.
